Aug. 31--NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. -- Three Hispanic men and two Hispanic women bought the five New Brunswick taxi licenses auctioned yesterday morning for between $72,000 and $81,000 each.
Francisco Garcia, owner of the Corona nightclub, purchased one of the licenses along with his mother, Juana Cerda, and his fiancee, Terri Smith.
Olegario Vasquez and Eusebio Lopez, owners of Milltown-based Acapulco All Nations Taxi, purchased the other two licenses.
