NEW YORK - Worsted yarns wrapped with a small amount of nylon microfiber are being used to produce lightweight fabrics for suits and tailored sportswear for spring 1993.

This move is part of the general international preferences for lightweight fabrics and the nylon wraps are being used primarily to add strength to fine weaving yarns. But there are some economic advantages too.
