EDISTO ISLAND, S.C., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- BellSouth today announced that, as a result of a recently completed trial on Edisto Island, it is deploying more BellSouth(R) FastAccess(R) DSL Internet service to rural areas of South Carolina. BellSouth conducted a successful trial of new equipment on Edisto Island that is designed for deployment near rural communities and business parks.
