LUKASHENKO PROVES OPENING UNIVERSITY IN BARANOVICHI WAS CORRECT
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko believes it was the right decision to found a state university in Baranovichi.
"Baranovichi is one of the country's largest industrial and agricultural centres. To foster its further development, we need highly qualified professionals", said the president at the opening of the university on Wednesday.
The president appreciates of the fact that now Baranovichi residents have the opportunity to get higher education in their home city. He added, the newly-founded university will use the experience of the leading European education centres.
