Thirteen years since its opening, Symphony Hall still comes up with important 'firsts' to celebrate.
Tuesday brings perhaps one of the most illustrious landmarks in the history of this internationally-renowned venue, when the acclaimed Berlin Philharmonic visits the hall for the first time, the final member of the great pantheon of world-class orchestras to grace its stage.
