Fans of Those Darn Accordions will be happy to know that founder Big Lou, The accordion princess, has resurfaced in San Francisco leading her own, equally off-the-wall band, Big Lou's Polka Casserole. Dogs Playing Polka, the second Casserole CD, opens with a version of "Cabbage Rolls and Coffee." Written and originally performed by John Candy and Eugene Levy, the song is a classic Shmenge Brothers routine from Second City, TV that's tons of fun and sets the tone for the album.
