I previously have reported that laughter from viewing Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times or Rowan Atkinson's The Best Bits of Mr. Bean reduced allergic skin wheal responses, whereas stress by total sleep deprivation or passive smoking enhanced them in allergic patients. (1,2)
