Independent IT market research company Gartner has reportedly estimated that the Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia has managed to increase its market share in the second quarter 2004.

Nokia's market share had reportedly increased to 29.7%, as compared to 28.9% in the first quarter 2004.

Nokia's new pricing policy was seen to have impacted the market share, reported the Finnish news agency STT.
