Renew Power (60 Hazelwood Drive, Champaign ILL 61820; Tel: 217/328.9857 email: info@renewpower.com) was founded in 2003 by Neil Huff and David McCloud, who worked several years together at Ballard Power. The company aims to bring to market tiny fuel cells that can run laptop computers, cell phones and personal digital assistants. Renew Power has raised almost a half-million dollars in financing and aims to have a commercial prototype in 2004 and a commercial product by 2005. Neil Huff is president of the company.
