They're grappling again with an old question: In this age, can gays and lesbians be Republicans?
On Tuesday, Log Cabin Republicans of Minnesota released a statement harshly criticizing its own political party for attempting to turn back the clock on gay rights. The statement echoed criticism made by the national Log Cabin Republicans.
Even on good days, Log Cabin Republicans are pretty lonely. The small organization is made up of people pushing gay-friendly Republican candidates for elective office.
