HOUSTON _ Looking good is half the battle this time of the year, and part of looking good is feeling good. On that front, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers successfully emerged from the preseason Thursday night without any major injuries.
But they also emerged without a touchdown from the first-team offense and with more doubts about their kicker.
Backup quarterbacks Brian Griese and Chris Simms mounted impressive touchdown drives, capping each with short scoring tosses that pushed the Bucs to a 17-9 victory in their fake-game finale before a Reliant Stadium crowd of 70,024.
