Heresy? Naaa ... just good sense!
There are some things from the mind of man so perfect in their design one is tempted to say they were supernaturally inspired. The 1939 and 1949 Ford Club Coupes, the Colt 1911, the Winchester Model 1892 and most assuredly the Colt Single Action Army. In 1873 and for well over a century and a quarter now, the Colt SAA has represented near perfection. It feels natural in the hand, balances perfectly, shoots where it points, and with the loads it has been chambered for such as .45 Colt, .44 Special and .44-40, delivers plenty of punch without punishing recoil.
