SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- After hundreds of New York schools participated in the program in 2003, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and representatives of General Mills' Box Tops for Education school fund-raising program today announced that New York Apples for Education is back for 2004. The program gives New Yorkers an easy way to support the state's apple farmers and school children.
Through the end of October, students across New York will be able to harvest stickers from New York State apples and redeem them for cash for their schools through General Mills' Box Tops for Education program. Schools that collect and submit 100 New York apple stickers will earn 100 Bonus ...
