Jakarta, Sept 3 (ANTARA) - The Golkar Party is currently facing a dilemma over the question of sanctions on a group of party executives and cadres who are openly opposing their leadership's decision to support the Megawati Soekarnoputri-Hasyim Muzadi ticket in the September 30 runoff election, a political observer said. "Golkar must obviously impose sanctions on the rebels but the likelihoood that sanctions will cause an internal rift with far-reaching consequences for the party's future should not be considered lightly," Prof Dr Maswadi Rauf of the University of Indonesia said.
