The great outdoors of southern France is beckoning the more adventurous British buyers.
Astute bargain hunters are heading for the Midi-Pyrenees, which gloriously dominate the country's south-west corner and sweep north from the mountain peaks at the border with Spain to the foothills of the Massif Central.
