Riverside, Calif. -- Juvenile bedroom furniture manufacturer Universal Interiors has changed its name to Newport Cottages to better reflect the style and feel of its furnishings, said President Pockets Alvarez.
"From Newport, Rhode Island to Newport Beach, California, our product is sold through fine furniture showrooms and higher-end specialty retailers nationwide," said Alvarez. "Newport Cottages brings to mind a beach house, vacation home or cottage veranda, and that is exactly the image we want to capture."
