HARRISBURG, Pa., Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- On behalf of Governor Edward G. Rendell, Community and Economic Development Secretary Dennis Yablonsky today announced the approval of 17 Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) loans totaling more than $12.3 million to create and retain 896 jobs in 10 counties.
"For almost 50 years, the PIDA program has been supporting economic development and job growth in Pennsylvania," Secretary Yablonsky said. "It continues to help the Commonwealth move forward by building our economy and creating and retaining family-sustaining jobs in our communities."
