Syracuse SkyChiefs third baseman Glenn Williams has set career-highs with 23 home runs and 79 RBIs. He was the SkyChiefs' only representative at the Triple-A All-Star Game in July. He played on the Australian Olympic team that stunned the international baseball world by winning the silver medal in Athens.
And on Sunday, the Toronto Blue Jays named Williams as the SkyChiefs' 2004 MVP.
About the only thing standing between Williams and his dream season is a promotion to Toronto for his first taste of the major leagues after 11 years in the minors. But unless the Blue Jays make room for Williams on their 40-man ...
