Growth in the liquid phase instrumentation market has continued to slide since 2002. It was only several years ago when the market grew between 9% and 10%. But in recent years, growth has stumbled, slowing to between 6% and 7%. Certainly, the instability of market conditions and global economy during this time has had a negative impact on the liquid phase instrumentation market. Overall the market grew at 6.0% in 2003, slightly less than the 6.6% expansion in 2002.
