Industry took center stage Tuesday in the 49th state Senate District Republican primary, with Tom Dadey picking up a key endorsement and his rival, incumbent Sen. Nancy Larraine Hoffmann, getting credit for helping a factory stay in Central New York.
The Business-Industry Political Action Committee, the political arm of the Manufacturers Association of Central New York, announced at a 9:30 a.m. news conference that it was endorsing Dadey in next Tuesday's primary.
