George W. Bush and John Kerry have two months to sway voters, but director John Sayles and producing partner Maggie Renzi face judgment day in a few weeks.
Beginning Sept. 17 the pair will learn whether audiences - fresh off a summer filled with contentious election campaigning and Michael Moore's successful Fahrenheit 9/11 - are willing to embrace another piece of politically-oriented entertainment.
