JCB Co. Ltd., Japan's largest card issuer, has formed a partnership with a Taiwanese bank and a Japanese apparel company to issue a smart card for women in Taiwan . Sun Bank will issue the Wacoal-I Card for Taiwan Wacoal Corp. The product will be first card in Taiwan to carry the National Credit Card Center's chip-based loyalty program. Sun will provide a credit function for the Europay-MasterCard-Visa-compliant card through JCB's J-Smart on the Java Card platform. The loyalty program allows cardholders to earn points at more than 200 Wacoal merchants in Taiwan. Cardholders receive discounts on purchases and triple points for the first three. ...
