2004 SEP 16 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) has developed a free school-age program, Be A Pal! Protect A Life from Food Allergies, geared specifically to educate friends and classmates of children with food allergies.
Citing concern that dangerous food allergies are on the rise, the American Medical Association (AMA) established new policy at its annual meeting in June. The policy recommends that schools provide more student and teacher education on food allergies.
