Sep. 11--Donning a grass skirt and ferociously wiggling his hips, tall, balding Cecil Hollar joins the hilarious hula dancers at the Senior Citizens of Westbury Center.
The Grumman aircraft retiree, 70, comes to the center with his wife, Sylvia, to have fun and learn a few things. At this moment he's learning to do the Hukilau with the Aloha Iolani dancers.
At the Glen Cove Senior Center, nearly 200 heads sway to the seductive West African rhythms of Camara Dance Unlimited. Jean Ealy and Nick Bucaria break out of the audience to swing with the dancers as volunteers ...
