A 17-YEAR girl married her 64- year old lover yesterday, after the pair eloped from North Wales to Scotland.
The news has devastated mum Joanne Furneaux who believes her daughter Stacey has thrown away her life on a man ``old enough to be her grandfather''.
Joanne has washed her hands of the marriage between the teenager and Brian Williams, saying Stacey is on her own.
Stacey's parents had blocked a planned wedding at Wrexham, by refusing to give their consent to the controversial marriage.
But they were powerless to stop the 17-year-old and her lover, both from Llay, Wrexham, tying the knot at Gretna ...
