 AIR TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION ISSUES STATEMENT ON PRIVATIZATION 
WASHINGTON, April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Air Transport Association President Robert J. Aaronson issued the following statement in response to reports of Bush administration plans to promote privatization of government funded infrastructure: 
The airlines are vitally concerned about anything that could raise airport costs and therefore the cost of air travel.  For that reason, we have urgently requested that the complete privatization or outright sale of airports be excluded from the administration's privatization policy.
