Uncle Louie G Ice Cream, which is often described by its owners as "Brooklyn's best-kept secret," is expanding operations in South Florida to include Polk County. A new shop will be located in the Merchants Walk plaza in South Lakeland. The company currently has Florida locations in Broward and Dade counties. A spokesman for Uncle Louie G said the Lakeland location should open in 30 to 60 days
