Sep. 14--A Denver real estate investment trust has purchased the Parkway Centre III in Plano - its fifth office building acquisition in North Texas.
AmeriVest Properties Inc. said Monday that it paid $23.4 million for the building, which is on the Dallas North Tollway north of the Shops at Willow Bend mall.
Opened in 2001, the 152,600-square-foot office project is almost 90 percent leased.
AmeriVest chairman William Atkins said Parkway Centre III will increase "our ownership in the North Tollway market, which continues to improve on a fundamental basis."
