Generations of Catholics have long appreciated both the Jesuit publication America and Commonweal, an independent journal of opinion edited and managed by lay Catholics.
Now a third magazine, Conscience, published by Catholics for Free Choice, is available. While both America and Commonweal treat a broad spectrum of religious, political and cultural issues which affect contemporary Catholicism, Conscience focuses on sexual and reproductive ethics, and women's rights in society and in religions.
