ATLANTA, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- National Data Corporation (NASDAQ: NDTA) announced today that Robert A. Yellowlees has been elected chairman of the board and chief executive officer of the company. 
This coincides with the planned retirement of L.C. Whitney as chairman and director of the company.  Whitney will assume the title of chairman emeritus and will serve as a consultant to the board. These management changes follow the resignation of O.G. Greene, president and CEO.  Greene joined National Data in March of 1991, and is leaving to pursue other interests.
