Sep. 15--As afternoon traffic clogged Highway 99 in Live Oak on Tuesday, 46-year-old Tim Copelin spoke with resignation about the development that is turning his hometown into a larger community.
Copelin, a longtime resident, said he doesn't foresee an end to the development, which is expected to bring Live Oak's population to 10,000 people before 2010. The town currently has a population of 6,500.
