Competition office clears Matav of "price squeeze" charges on retail market
Budapest. September 15. INTERFAX-EUROPE - The Office of Economic Competition (GVH) announced that it has closed an investigation started in 2002 against incumbent telecom provider Matav, and found that the company did not abuse its dominant market position.
The GVH found that Matav's price calculation method in the examined period, questioned by a market competitor, was in line with regulations in effect at the time. The competitor charged Matav with creating a "price ...
