Sep. 15--RIO RANCHO, N.M. -- A $16 billion bond deal for Intel is good for a county -- Bernalillo County.
Both Albuquerque and Bernalillo County stand to gain the most from the bond deal being offered to Intel by Sandoval County.
A study on the economic impact of the chipmaker on the local economy found that Bernalillo County receives three times the direct benefit of Sandoval County.
The study by the Bureau of Business and Economic Research at the University of New Mexico found that Sandoval County and Rio Rancho Public Schools were the only two ...
