A NEAR extinct prehistoric breed of horse has been returned to the wild in North Wales.
Three Przewalski's horses -- only ever seen in zoos and cave paintings -- are being grazed on a patch of land in Clocaenog Forest.
The animals are in a 12-acre paddock on the site of a former Neolithic/Iron Age settlement designated a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

It has erected a viewing platform so that visitors can be ``transported back thousands of years in time''.
