Sep. 16--Media mogul Rupert Murdoch received a double dose of good news yesterday as a proposal to move the main listing of his News Corp business from Sydney to New York was given cautious approval by an independent report and the company's annual report showed he bagged a massive pay bonus.
Murdoch's remuneration rose 42 percent to $17 million (UKpound 9.6 million) during the year to June, with most of the gains in the form of a bonus. His salary was little changed at $4.5 million but he received $12.5 million in bonuses, up from $7.5 million in 2003.
