Colorado Lt. Gov. Jane Norton will head a task force to study campus alcohol abuse at Colorado State University, school President Larry Penley announced Tuesday.
The task force was convened after a weekend of alcohol-fueled riots and a separate incident in which a female student died with a lethal level of alcohol in her body.
It also comes at a time when CSU officials have obtained permission from Larimer County to sell stronger beer during football games at Hughes Stadium.
