Joyce Dehli, managing editor of the Wisconsin State Journal, was named Friday to a new position of editorial training manager for Lee Enterprises.
Dehli, 45, will establish a program to train Lee newspaper employees on enterprise reporting, "stories that are not simply reacting to news but go beyond ... into understanding causes and consequences," she said.
Lee, of Davenport, Iowa, owns 50 percent of Capital Newspapers Inc., which publishes the Wisconsin State Journal, The Capital Times, Portage Daily Register, Baraboo News Republic, Daily Citizen in Beaver Dam and Shawano Leader.
