Encountering a book like this, one must simply give thanks for its inspired author, Elizabeth Johnson.
A Fordham University professor of theology, and a centred, graceful and passionate feminist writer, (She Who Is, 1993, Friends of God and Prophets, 1998) Johnson writes with such scholarship, clarity and accessibility, she moves the whole international theological enterprise ahead by giant leaps.
