Corey Leiby, one of America's major collectors of baseball memorabilia and the owner of Antique Athlete in Orwigsburg, Pa., doesn't play the game--at least on the field. Rather, he prefers to imagine a 1909 game with Ty Cobb at bat for the Detroit Tigers, or Honus Wagner at a 1916 warm-up session with his team, the Pittsburgh Pirates. "Once in a while I attend a local game to spend an enjoyable afternoon in the sun," says Leiby. Most of the time, though, he is content to hold, admire, and maybe even try on some of the vintage baseball memorabilia he collects and sells.
