Sep. 18--Bush Industries' top executive sees better days ahead for the Jamestown-based ready-to-assemble furniture maker as it moves closer to emerging from bankruptcy protection.
"The performance of the company is expected to improve once we get out of Chapter 11," Michael C. Buenzow, Bush's chief executive officer, said Friday. "We've reduced our head count in certain areas. We've cut costs. We also have started to see a rebound in our sales activity in some areas."
