Oct. 8--At their meeting on Tuesday, Saline County commissioners:
--Agreed to buy a Ford F-550 chassis for Saline County Rural Fire District No. 5 from Long McArthur Ford, Salina, for $31,232, and a skid unit and flat bed assembly from Chief Fire & Safety of Chickasha, Okla., for $21,954. The companies were the low bidders for the equipment.
--Agreed to transfer a 1978 Dodge mini-pumper from Rural Fire District No. 5 to the Saline ...
