Aug. 22--LAKELAND, Fla.--Ask almost anyone where pizza originates from and the answer will almost always be the same:
Italy, of course.
Well, that answer is correct -- mostly.
According to aboutpizza.com, a Web site that offers practically anything anyone could ever want to know about the popular pies, including recipes, serving suggestions and the dish's origins, pizza was first enjoyed by the Babylonians, Israelites, Egyptians and other Middle Eastern cultures.
