MORRISTOWN, N.J., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- A "Special Report" in today's issue of the journal Circulation challenges the clinical significance of "aspirin resistance" and concludes that more definitive research is needed. In response to publications and media reports suggesting that aspirin may not be effective in everyone, the authors caution that the term "aspirin resistance" may not explain the occurrence of cardiovascular events in people taking aspirin.
