May 31--Worldcom sold 500,000-acre Canadian cattle ranch of former CEO Bernie Ebbers to St. Louis Rams owner Stanley Kroenke to pay loan owed by Ebbers. Bankrupt MCI is finally unloading ex-CEO Bernie Ebbers' sprawling Canadian cattle ranch for $68.5 million.

The buyer is sports mogul Stanley Kroenke, co-owner of the St. Louis Rams football team.

"They got top dollar," said Rudy Nielsen, head of real estate firm NIHO Land & Cattle.

The 120-year-old ranch which covers an area nearly triple the size of New York City, includes fly-fishing lakes and tourist lodges as well as a farm and logging.
