SANTA ROSA, Calif., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The 648-acre Dickson Ranch moved a step closer to public agency protection with the approval of a $2.6 million grant by the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors.
Acting in their capacity as the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District Board of Directors, the supervisors unanimously approved the funding as part of the $4.212 million purchase price for the land that is among the last remaining properties with restoration potential in the Sonoma baylands area.
