May 16--Japan Airlines System Corp., a holding company set up last October in the integration of Japan Airlines (JAL) and Japan Air System (JAS), reported an 11.65 billion yen group net profit but issued loss projections for the current year.
For the half-year accounting term following the Oct. 2 consolidation, Japan Airlines System posted a per-share group net profit of 5.94 yen, a group pretax profit of 15.84 billion yen and an operating profit of 10.59 billion yen on revenue of 2,083.48 billion yen.
It will pay a per-share dividend of 4 yen.
