Apr. 19--PANAMA CITY, Fla.--Citing a significant downturn in business over the past six months, Panama City-based Wellstream expects to lay off about 100 employees.
Wellstream-Panama City, a division of United Kingdom-based Blossomgrange Ltd., employs about 240 people.
Charles W. "Chuck" Ytterberg said the flexible-pipe manufacturer regretfully made the decision to trim the work force at its plant at the Port of Panama City.
