Feb. 20--Beginning today, DISH Network customers in Southern Colorado can receive signals for the local CBS and NBC affiliates.
EchoStar Communications Corp., the parent company of DISH Network, has reached agreements with Gray Television Inc. and Cordillera Communications Inc. Gray, based in Atlanta, owns KKTV (Channel 11) and Cordillera, headquartered in Plano, Texas, owns KOAA (Channels 5 and 30). Dish Network already offers ABC, Fox, PBS and the WB affiliate KWGN.
The agreement also will allow DISH Network to carry Gray's NBC affiliate in Omaha and Cordillera's NBC affiliates in Lexington, Ky., and Tucson.
