Domestic Investment (PMDN)
In the first and second weeks of January, 2004, the Capital Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) issued licenses to two new domestic investment (PMDN) projects. The largest among the projects is that of PT Agro Bintang Dharma, which plans to invest Rp 329 billion in palm plantation and processing industry. It plans to produce 665,000 tons of TBS (fresh fruits), 105,000 tons of CPO, and 24,000 tons of PKO. The project is to be built in Muba and Pasir, East Kalimantan. It will provide jobs for 4,958 Indonesians.
