Sep. 22--Four Naperville residential builders filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Naperville and two of its police officers, alleging they have been discriminated against and harassed because they are of Middle Eastern descent.
The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Chicago, alleges City Manager Peter Burchard and employees of the city's Transportation, Engineering and Development Business group have harassed the men since 2000 and that the harassment worsened after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
